5th Annual Artisanal Brewing Competition

The Piedmont Center of the Arts will host its 5th Annual Artisanal Brewing Competition on Friday, October 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Attention Beer Lovers!  The 5th annual Artisanal Brewing Competition is THIS Friday (10/7) 5:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Piedmont Center for the Arts. Piedmont Grocery Company is supplying the best bratwurst in town along with potato salad, coleslaw, and all the fixins! Terry Patton will again amaze with her homemade dessert buffet.

Come taste some of Piedmont's finest brews made by Piedmont's finest brewmeisters! 

A panel of judges, including celebrity judge Paul Benoit, a former Oregon gold medal brewer, will award prizes to home brewers for:

Best Pale Ale

Best Lager

Best Label

Best in Show

Food ($5 per person) is available outside on the lawn, accompanied by live music!

Inside the Center a dozen or more local home brewers will unveil their latest beers and ales. Admission to the tasting inside (for of-age adults) is $10, and includes a signature Center for the Arts beer glass.
