Fresh from his wildly successful and unique solo concert at the Piedmont Center for the Arts on November 3, San Francisco Symphony violinist Florin Parvulescu will return to Piedmont on Sunday, December 8 with pianist Samantha Cho for an exciting concert at 7:30 p.m.

The program includes the Partita for solo violin No. 3 in E major, by J.S.Bach; Sonata for solo piano in A major, K.322, and Sonata in E-flat Major, K. 193, both by Domenico Scarlatti; Bénédictions de Dieu dans la Solitude, S.173, by Franz Liszt; and Sonata for Violin & Piano in A major, Op.13 by Gabriel Faure.

His concert on November 3 was part of the ongoing Berkley Symphony & Friends chamber music series in which he performed a rare unaccompanied solo concert of the Six Sonatas for Violin by Belgian composer and violinist Eugène-Auguste Ysaÿe.
