On Saturday, May 18 at 8:00 p.m. violinist Julian Rhee, the recent winner of the prestigious Irving Klein International String Competition, will perform a concert at the Piedmont Center for the Arts located at 801 Magnolia Ave., Piedmont.  Currently a student at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Rhee is rapidly establishing himself as a performer across the U.S., and has won numerous competitions around the world.  He will be accompanied by the prominent Bay Area pianist Miles Graber with a program that includes the music of Brahms, Schumann, Mozart, and Ysaÿe.  Tickets at the door are $25 general admission and $15 for students 18 yrs. and younger.
