Stagebridge

STaged REadings Showcase

JUne 8

Starts at 7:00 pm

Stagebridge's Staged Reading class will present an evening of delightful one-act plays by David Ives on Friday, June 8 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Piedmont Center for the Arts.

Ives, a master of language and wordplay, is known for his "enchanting... incisively intelligent and side-splittingly funny" series of one-act plays, including full-length plays "Don Juan in Hell" and "Venus in Fur." Beneath the comedy, universal truths also lurk: how we act, how we dream and aspire, and how we thwart ourselves.

The staged readings will be directed by Trish Tillman. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or online at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3438324.
