Solstice will perform a concert at the Center on Saturday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m. Titled “Sing When the Dawn is Dark,” the concert will celebrate the recent release of their CD of the same name.

Founded in the Bay Area in 1996, Solstice is a national award-winning vocal ensemble that has enthralled audiences with a dynamic repertoire of music for women's voices from around the world and through the ages, precisely and lovingly performed.

In this concert, Solstice will perform songs from their latests cd that show resilience and strength in the face of adversity, and will feature baritone Lark Coryell. They have been performing for more than 20 years and were recognized in the top three in a national field of competitors at the Harmony Sweeps A Cappella event.

The concert will include a reception.
