Coming this October, 16-18 & 23-25 Piedmont Players Present The Best Man
This October, the Piedmont Players present Gore Vidal’s The Best Man, a delicious, satirical political drama set at a nominating convention during a mythical 1960’s era election. A play about power, ambition, political secrets, and the race for the presidency, The Best Man takes place at the national convention where two candidates are vying for their party’s nomination for president. It’s an inside look at the dirt-digging, double-dealing, triple-crossing chicanery of presidential electioneering, and what could be more fun in a presidential campaign season than these theatrical fireworks?
Performances two weekends only, October 16, 17, 18 and October 23, 24, 25.
